Andy Warhol - Serial Identity

More than 60 artworks, coming from renowned private collections and international institutions such as The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, illustrate Warhol's entire creative universe, from the initial drawings made for fashion and publishing industry, to the most famous pop works.

The exhibition opens with some refined drawings that enlighten the early career of the artist as illustrator for advertisements, books and magazines.

From 1960s, seriality allows Warhol to overcome the unicity of the artwork and find a new signature style that made him world-wide famous and unique. In these years he produced the well-known screenprints dedicated to Marilyn Monroe and Maothe series FlowersCowCampbell's Soup Can.
